5. Postdoctoral Position
Summary of Postdoctoral Fellowship:
The Tarchini Lab at The Jackson Laboratory is seeking a Postdoctoral Associate to complete a team currently composed of two postdocs, one research assistant and rotating students or shorter term trainees. The laboratory focuses on cell polarity mechanisms and their impact on the morphogenesis of sensory “hair” cells in the mouse auditory and vestibular organs, including hearing and balance ability. We are particularly interested in discovering new protein complexes organizing and elongating the stereocilia bundle, the apical hair cell compartment capturing sound or head movements.

8. Postdoctoral Position
Summary of Postdoctoral Fellowship:
The project involves the generation of human iPS cell models of Alzheimer’s Disease and related dementia as part of an NIH contract. The candidate must have prior experience of CRISPR-Cas editing of human iPS cells. The candidate will help design reagents for generating mostly single nucleotide variants, plan experiments, perform nucleofections and work with a team of research assistants to identify and archive iPS cell clones with the desired edits. The candidate will help troubleshoot problems that may arise and test new reagents/editing strategies where appropriate.
