Summary of Postdoctoral Fellowship:
A Postdoctoral Research Associate position is available to utilize cutting-edge techniques to understand cell fate regulation which underlie liver inflammation, fibrosis and cancer – the diseases with high mortality and limited therapeutic options. The lab’s goal is to test identified therapeutic targets towards the development of novel therapeutic approaches for the diseases. The Postdoctoral Research Associate will pursue cell and molecular biology research. The incumbent will be involved in cutting-edge techniques such as CRISP/Cas9 gene editing, genetic manipulation and lineage tracing in mice, single cell and spatial RNA sequencing, chromatin immunoprecipitation in addition to conventional biochemistry (immunoblotting and qPCR) in pursuit of the project and timely publications.

8. Postdoctoral Position
Summary of Postdoctoral Fellowship:
The laboratory of Dr. Marc Vermulst is interested in hiring a highly motivated, talented post-doc to support its efforts in understanding the molecular basis of human aging. The successful applicant will be responsible for growing the research program by investigating the molecular and cellular origins of Alzheimer’s disease and other diseases associated with protein misfolding and protein aggregation. We examine these diseases from a new perspective, of transcriptional mutagenesis, which we believe plays a crucial role in the development of non-familial cases of these diseases and the pathology associated with aging.
