“Enhancements of Singapore’s convective rainfall prediction” will make use of meteorological models in combination with multivariate observations of rainfall to provide a high spatial and temporal resolution rainfall reanalysis product for Singapore and to study how climate change affects mesoscale convective rainfall processes, their statistical properties, and underlying physics. This will be done using physically based convection-permitting models and stochastic weather generators.
