Summary of PhD Program:
The doctoral thesis deals with data from the COmPLETE study, in which healthy men and women between the ages of 20 and 91 were comprehensively examined. The analysis of data on arterial vascular function is still pending, as is the analysis of the connection with cardiac function (ventricular-vascular coupling). These data are to be compared with measurements in patients with heart failure or obesity. The Department of Medical Parasitology and Infection Biology (MPI) investigates the biology and transmission of pathogens.
