The Translational Lab (translational-lab.com; PI: Pete Hitchcock) in the Department of Psychology at Emory University is recruiting a postdoctoral fellow. The lab mission is to understand when and why decision-making goes awry in depression and anxiety disorders and to develop potent and scalable interventions to improve it. We use carefully designed experimental tasks, and reinforcement learning and sequential sampling models thereof, to understand individual differences and psychotherapy-relevant clinical principles. We also plan to develop brief self-guided interventions over the coming years.
