3. Fully Funded PhD Position in Nanoelectronic devices coupled to light

Summary of PhD Program:

The position will be placed in the theory division of the department for Microtechnology and Nanoscience at Chalmers, where diverse research from quantum transport, quantum information, and quantum materials to quantum thermodynamics is carried out. More specifically, the hired PhD student will be part of the group of Janine Splettstoesser, working on “dynamics and thermodynamics of nanoscale devices” and will join the ERC-funded project “NanoRecycle”, dealing with energy conversion processes in quantum and nanoscale devices, and/or the FlagEra project ThinQ, dealing with single-photon detection in cavity coupled quantum dots.
