The PhD Fellow will be affiliated with the SFI-project Digiwells: AI-Driven Data Analysis and Causality Detection in Drilling Operations. Summary of PhD Program:

The PhD Fellow will be affiliated with the following project “Fano manifolds, wall structures and torus fibrations” (Shape2030) funded by the Norwegian Research Council. Summary of PhD Program:

The PhD candidate is expected to apply existent electrochemical methods such as impedance spectroscopy, galvanostatic polarization and cyclic voltammetry to understand the operation and degradation processes in contemporary battery materials and related cells. In addition, the candidate will develop new diagnostic methodologies and cells to apply those, as well as theoretical understanding through physico-chemical modeling of the underlying processes. Synthesis of battery materials will be performed if necessary. The findings of this thesis will allow for development of future improved battery materials and cells.
