Application Deadline: Open Until Filled
2. Postdoctoral Position
Summary of Postdoctoral Fellowship:
Our laboratory studies and develops adoptive T cell therapies targeting solid tumors. The postdoctoral scientist will focus on developing genetically engineered T cells starting from the molecular cloning phase of cell therapy development, and then advancing to preclinical in vitro work and clinically relevant mouse models. A strong background in immunology and molecular biology will allow the successful applicant to be creative within the lab, enhancing T cell function and tumor targeting for optimal patient translation and high impact publication.
Application Deadline: Open Until Filled

3. Postdoctoral Position
Summary of Postdoctoral Fellowship:
Position #1 is focused on studying the role of retinoblastoma tumor suppressor pathway (RB, p16ink4a, and cyclin D1) in breast cancer. Specific emphasis will be placed on the role of RB loss in disease progression and therapeutic response. This work will incorporate the use of cell culture, animal models, and clinical specimens.
Position #2 is focused on deciphering mechanisms through which breast cancers evade standard therapies and elucidate new approaches for therapeutic intervention using targeted approaches. These studies will use PDX, organoid, and mouse models.
Application Deadline: Open Until Filled
4. Postdoctoral Position
Summary of Postdoctoral Fellowship:
Our laboratory is broadly interested in transcriptional regulation and cell-fate determination in cancer cell biology and treatment. We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled candidate to work on a novel family of transcriptional and cell-fate regulators in cancer cell biology and treatment response, and stem cell biology.
Application Deadline: Open Until Filled
5. Postdoctoral Position
Summary of Postdoctoral Fellowship:
The Liu lab (https://www.roswellpark.org/xuhang-liu) at the Department of Pharmacology and Therapeutics at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center is seeking highly-motivated postdoctoral fellows with interests in RNA and/or cancer biology to join our efforts in fighting cancer. We employ a multi-disciplinary approach that combines in vivo mouse models, in vitro patient-derived organoids (PDOs), classical biochemistry, cutting-edge multi-omics techniques, and advanced bioinformatic analyses to discover key post-transcriptional mechanisms that govern cancer progression and metastasis. We aim to develop innovative therapeutic strategies, in particular RNA therapeutics, to translate these mechanistic insights into the clinic.
Application Deadline: Open Until Filled
6. Postdoctoral Position
Summary of Postdoctoral Fellowship:
A postdoctoral position is available in the Atanassov Lab in the Department of Pharmacology and Therapeutics, Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center, Buffalo, New York. We are looking for a highly motivated, self-driven postdoctoral fellow to study the role of deubiquitinating enzymes (DUBs) in cancer. The postdoctoral fellow will work with a dynamic team of scientists and research fellows in an outstanding research environment and utilize genetically engineered mouse models and biochemical approaches to elucidate the molecular mechanisms of how DUB functions potentiate cancer growth and develop strategies for their therapeutic targeting. The study is supported by NIH funded R01 award, and the position is ready for an immediate start.

7. Postdoctoral Position
Summary of Postdoctoral Fellowship:
The Das lab at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center is looking for a highly motivated postdoctoral fellow with a passion for research to study molecular mechanisms of breast cancer with emphasis on the crosstalk between estrogen receptors and p53 signaling. Translating lab findings to novel therapies will be a priority (see Mukhopadhyay et al. Journal of the National Cancer Institute (JNCI) 2019, Oturkar et al. Cancers 2022, Scarpetti et al. The Oncologist 2023)
Application Deadline: Open Until Filled
8. Postdoctoral Position
Summary of Postdoctoral Fellowship:
Postdoctoral positions are available in the laboratory of Dr. Dhyan Chandra, Pharmacology and Therapeutics. New postdoctoral fellows will study the role of mitochondria and heat shock proteins in prostate cancer biology and the development of therapeutic resistance in cancer.
Application Deadline: Open Until Filled
9. Postdoctoral Position
Summary of Postdoctoral Fellowship:
Our laboratory studies and develops adoptive T cell (CAR T cell) therapies targeting solid tumors. The postdoctoral scientist will develop genetically engineered T-cell therapies starting from the molecular cloning phase of cell therapy development, and then advancing to preclinical in vitro work and clinically relevant mouse models. A strong background in molecular biology and immunology will allow the successful applicant to be creative within the lab, enhancing T cell function and tumor targeting for optimal patient translation and high-impact publication. The postdoctoral scientist will work under the co-mentorship of Leonid Cherkassky and Renier Brentjens.
Application Deadline: Open Until Filled
10. Postdoctoral Position
Summary of Postdoctoral Fellowship:
A postdoctoral position is open for a highly motivated candidate in the laboratory of Dr. Liya Ding in the Department of Immunology at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center. The laboratory’s research focuses on investigating the interactions between cancer cells and the host immune system during cancer development and progression. Employing a multidisciplinary approach, the laboratory utilizes ex vivo co-culture systems of tumor and immune cells, syngeneic and humanized mouse models, CRISPR screening, scRNA seq, spatial biology imaging and bioinformatics to identify critical regulators that contribute to the tumor immunosuppressive microenvironment during tumor progression, metastasis, and therapeutic resistance.
Application Deadline: Open Until Filled

Summary of Postdoctoral Fellowship:
The broad research goals of the Prahlad lab are to understand the role of the nervous system in controlling the stress response pathways of other cells through neuroendocrine molecules and trophic interactions [Prahlad et al., Science 2008, Prahlad & Morimoto, PNAS 2011, Tatum et al., Current Biology 2015, Ooi and Prahlad, Science Signaling 2017, Das et al., eLife 2020, Das, Min and Prahlad, Mol. Cell 2021, Godthi, et al., PNAS 2024]. This question is relevant to the role of nerves in cancer and is integral for understanding several proteotoxic diseases.
